VENDECK foam can be used on decks with anti-slip surfaces.

If the surfaces are exceptionally high and have a rhomboid structure, we recommend grinding them.

However, if you do not want to permanently interfere with the structure of the yacht or if the surfaces are lower, we recommend using Primer from 3M. It strengthens the adhesion of the glue and allows for permanent gluing of the VENDECK foam.

The size of a single element cannot exceed 2000×1000 mm (larger elements are divided into smaller parts). Please also remember that brushing is done along the longer side.

The surface should be well cleaned and degreased and should be flat.

If the boat is new, cleaning should be repeated several times because new boats have molding agents applied during production that reduce adhesion.

The durability of panel gluing depends on the care taken in preparing the surface for gluing.

Vendeck panels are self-glued and wrapping the boat should not be a problem for most people. A moderately fit person can wrap their boat in one afternoon.

The most important thing is the pressure during gluing. The best results are obtained by using a rubber roller to press.

Vendeck foam is very easy to clean. All you need is detergent and a soft brush. Vacuum, soak, wash, rinse.

The panels are made of durable closed-cell polyethylene and are resistant to most stains resulting from everyday use, such as stains from wine, juices, yogurt, etc.

You should lift up the corner and use a plastic or wooden tool to tear off the element and remove any adhesive residue.
